Abstract

Based on Preliminary Figures in 2013, rice production in Jawa Barat reached 12,083,162 tons of GKG or equivalent to 7,580,976 tons of rice or increased by 7.20 percent compared to 2012. The increase in rice production in 2013 is due to an increase in harvested area of 5.79 percent from 1,918,799 hectares in 2012 to 2,029,891 hectares in 2013 and an increase in productivity of 1.33 percent from 58.74 quintal per hectare in 2012 to 59.53 quintals per hectare by 2013.
