The Forecast II figure Rice Production, Corn & Soybean In Jawa Barat Province

Jawa Barat Province rice production in 2010 reached 11,737,070 tons of GKG equivalent to 7,363,838ton of rice or rose 3.66 percent compared to 2009. Increased rice production in 2010 due to the increase in harvested area by 4.48 percent from 1,950,203 hectares in 2009 to 2,037,657 hectares in 2010, while productivity decreased by 0.79 percent from 58.06 kuintal per hectare in 2009 to 57.60 quintal per hectare in 2010. Meanwhile, according to the Forecast II figure, in 2011 the production of rice in Jawa Barat estimated to reach 11,445,920 tons of GKG or equivalent to 7,181,170 tons of rice or decreased by -2.48 percent in 2010-2010. The decline in rice production forecast in 2011 is more likely to decrease the harvested area forecast by -3.27 percent, while forecast productivity is estimated to increase by 0, 82 percent if compared to 2010. Corn production in Jawa Barat in 2010 reached 923,962 tons or increased by 17.31 percentage dingkan of 2009. This increase occurred due to increase in harvested area and productivity respectively greater than 12.49 percent and 4.29 percent.
