Development Of Consumer Price Index in Jawa Barat on December 2009

December 2009, the CPI of Jawa Barat (CPI 2007 = 100) covering 7 cities of Bandung City, Cirebon City, Tasikmalaya City, Bekasi City, Bogor City, Sukabumi City and Depok City experienced an inflation of 0.22 percent. Thus during the year 2009 (January-December) there was inflation of 2.02 percent with nine times the monthly inflation and three times deflation. Consecutive monthly inflation as follows January 2009 deflation of 0.28 percent, February 2009 and March 2009 respectively inflation of 0.08 percent and 0.20 percent, April deflation of 0.23 percent and the next six months of May, June , July, August, September and October were inflation of 0.02 percent, 0.06 percent, 0.38 percent, 0.58 percent, 0.90 percent and 0.13 percent, respectively, again in November and deflation occurred in December inflation of 0.22 percent. During the last twelve months (December 2009 to December 2008) or "year on year" inflation there was inflation of 2.02 percent.
