January 2008 Happened Inflation 1.37 Percent On Seven City In Jawa Barat

The combined seven cities in Jawa Barat (Bandung, Tasikmalaya, Cirebon, Bekasi, Bogor, Sukabumi and Banjar) experienced inflation of 1.37 percent in January 2008, thus year-over-year inflation over the last twelve months of 5.95 percent. The seven groups of expenditures simultaneously experienced inflation, the highest occurred in the housing, water, electricity, gas & fuel 2.38 percent, foodstuffs 1.67 percent, clothing 1.24 percent, food, beverages, cigarette & tobacco 1.12 percent, health group 0.76 percent, education, recreation & sports 0.70 percent and transport, communication & financial services 0.12 percent.
