Abstract

Economic Growth Rate (LPE) of Jawa Barat in the first quarter of 2008 measured from the increase of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) on the previous quarter (qtq) of minus 0.53 percent. The highest growth was achieved by the agricultural sector by 14.37 percent, followed by the construction sector by 2.74 percent, while the lowest growth was in the trade, hotels and restaurants sector minus 9.82 percent.Over year on year (yoy), ie when compared to the first quarter of 2007, GDP growth in the first quarter of 2008 reached 7.13 percent. The highest yoy growth was achieved by the agricultural sector by 34.83 percent, while the lowest growth was in mining and quarrying sector which was - 15.28 percent.
