Abstract

The Consumer Tendency Index (CTI) in Jawa Barat in quarter I-2019 amounted to 104.01 meaning that the economic conditions of consumers in the first quarter of 2019 increased compared to the previous quarter. Consumer optimism in the first quarter of 2019 was lower compared to the previous quarter IV-2018 (ITK value of 108.24). The consumer economic conditions in the first quarter of 2019 are indicated by an increase in household income (index value of 101.42), no influence of inflation on consumption (index value of 102.34), and an increase in volume of consumption in quarter I-2019 (index value amounting to 112.29) compared to quarter IV-2018.
