Hotel Room Occupancy Rate In Jawa Barat January 2012 Recorded 42.71 Percent

Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of hotels in Jawa Barat in January 2012 decreased compared to the previous month. Hotel TPK in January 2012 was 42.71 percent and ROR in December 2011 was 48.67 percent. The decline in the star-rated hotels as a whole in January 2012 was primarily due to the decline in TPK of 3 to 5 star hotels, while its 1 and 2 star hotels and TPKs increased. Non-star hotel TPK in January 2012 was recorded at 35.28 percent while in December 2011 was recorded 41.19 percent. The highest TPK in January 2012 occurred in hotels with group of 10-24 rooms with TPK 40.88 percent, while in December 2011 the highest TPK occurred in the group of less than 10 rooms with larger TPK at 53.07 percent. Average length of stay of foreign guests at star hotels in January 2012 for 1.49 days, and at non-star hotels for 2.27 days, while guests from Indonesia averaged only 1.41 days staying in star hotels and 1.22 days in non-star hotels.
