May 2013 in Jawa Barat An Inflation of 0.19 Percent occurred

May 2013 CPI Composite 7 cities of Jawa Barat covering of Bandung City, Cirebon City, Tasikmalaya City, Bekasi City, Bogor City, Sukabumi City and Depok City experienced an increase in index. CPI in May 2013 was 135.84 higher compared to the IHK in April 2013 of 135.58, thus inflation of 0.19 percent. The year-to-date inflation from January to May 2013 is 2.71 percent and year-on-year inflation over the last twelve months (May 2013 to May 2012) stood at 5.69 percent. Of the seven expenditure groups, which experienced inflation among others Food, Beverage, Cigarette & Tobacco Group by 0.30 percent, Housing, Water, Electricity, Gas & Fuel Groups by 1.04 percent, Health Group by 0.18 percent, and Education, Recreation & Sports Group by 0,04 percent. While the other three expenditure groups experienced deflation among others Food Group by 0.22 percent, Group Clothing by 0.77 percent and Transportation, Communication & Financial Services Group by 0.11 percent.
