Room Occupancy Rate Hotel in Jawa Barat January 2011 Registered 40.88 Percent

Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of hotels in Jawa Barat in January 2011 decreased 6.93 points compared to the previous month. Hotel TPK in January 2011 amounted to 40.88 percent and TPK in December 2010 amounted to 47.81 percent. The decline in star-rated hotels in January 2011 was due to the decrease of TPK in almost all classes of star hotels except for the 3-star class hotel which increased its TPK from the amount of 53, 02 percent in December 2010 to 59.68 percent in January 2011 (Table 1). In January 2011 non-star hotel TPK was recorded at 33.37 percent while in December 2010 was recorded at 39.48 percent. The highest TPK in January 2011 occurred in hotels with less than 10 chamber groups with 63.69% of TPK, whereas in December 2010 the highest TPK occurred in groups of 41-100 with lower TPK at 49.66%.
