Abstract

Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of hotels in Jawa barat in August 2009 decreased 9.35 points compared to July 2009. The hotel's TPK in August was 34.51%, while the ROR for July 2009 was 43.86%. • The decline in star-rated hotels in August 2009 compared to July 2009 was due to a decrease in the ROR for hotels classified as 3-star and 5-star hotels, while the first and second-class hotels experienced an increase in occupancy rate of 27.67 percent and 39.13 percent in July to 31.79 percent and 45.42 percent in August 2009 • The highest ROR in non-star hotels in August 2009 occurred in groups of 25-40 with TPK 29.23 percent, whereas in July 2009 the highest TPK occurred in groups of 10-24 but with a larger TPK of 38.97 percent.
