Abstract

In August 2009, the NTP Joint Province of Jawa barat recorded 97.79 or increased by 0.90 percent of NTP in July 2009 by 96.91. This is due to the increase in the Farmer's Received Index (IT) higher than the increase in the Paid Farmer's Index (IB), ie 1.45 percent for the increase in IT and 0.54 percent for IB increase. 􀀻 Farmer Term of Trade (NTP) in August 2009 for each subsector was recorded 111.60 for Fisheries sub-sector (NTP-Pi), 108.28 for Smallholder Plantation Sub-sector (NTP-R), 102.25 for Horticulture Sub-sector (NTP-H), 100.98 for Livestock sub-sector (NTP-Pt) and 91.49 for Rice and Palawija sub-sector (NTP-P). 􀀻 In the rural areas of Jawa barat in August 2009 there was an inflation of 0.61 percent, which was influenced by the increase of the Foodstuff Group by 0.99 percent, Housing by 1.48 percent, Sandang up 0.54 percent, Health 0.28 percent and Education, Recreation and Sports by 0.35 percent, while Transportation and Communications and Foodstuff Group fell by 0.75 percent and 0.23 percent respectively compared to July 2009.
