Abstract

Room Occupancy Rate of Hotel in Jawa Barat on September 2009 again decreased by 0.88 points compared to August 2009. The hotel's TPK in September was recorded at 33.63 percent while the ROR in August 2009 was recorded at 34.51 percent. • The decline in the star-rated hotels in September 2009 compared to August 2009 was due to the decrease in the ROR of 2-star, 3-star and 5-star class hotels, while the 1st and 4th class hotels experienced an increase in occupancy rate of 31.79% and 42 respectively , 01 percent in August to 41.47 percent and 47.06 percent in September 2009 • The highest ROR in non-star hotels in September 2009 occurred in groups of 10-24 with TPK 31.44 percent, while in August 2009 The highest TPK occurred in groups of 25-40 but with a smaller TPK of 29.23 percent. • In September 2009, most foreign guests stay longer in non-star hotels than star hotels, with average length of stay of foreign guests in star hotels for 3.00 days while in non-star hotels for 4.26 days. In the same month, the average length of stay of Indonesian guests in star hotels is longer than non star hotels. Average length of stay of Indonesian guests in star hotels for 1.70 days and non star hotels for 1.30 days.
